The tools are free to use
You may use the generators to create documents for your own business or for clients, as many times as you like, at no cost. You own the documents you create.
Not legal, tax or financial advice
The templates, examples, tips, guides and FAQs are general information. They are not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice. Requirements for estimates, invoices, contracts, deposits, licensing and sales tax vary by location and trade. You are responsible for checking that your documents meet the rules that apply to you, and for the prices, terms and information you put in them.
Check your documents
We test the calculations carefully, but you are responsible for reviewing every document before you send it. Example prices on the site are made up for illustration and are not price guidance.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the site to create false, misleading or fraudulent documents — for example, invoices for work that wasn't done, or documents that impersonate another business. You also agree not to disrupt the site or try to access it in ways it isn't designed for.
Your data
Documents and details you enter stay in your browser, as explained in the privacy policy. Because nothing is stored on our servers, we can't recover lost documents — keep copies of anything important.
Embedding the estimate generator
You may embed our estimate generator on your website using the code on the embed page, as long as you keep the credit link and don't present the tool as your own. We may change or stop the widget at any time.
Ads and affiliate links
The site shows ads and may include labelled affiliate links. We are not responsible for third-party products, websites or offers you reach through them.
No warranty and limitation of liability
The site and tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, ToolbeltDocsand Muhammad Zaid are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or of documents created with it.
Changes
We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
